William Pintainho co-founded Aware Financial Services in 2002 and has been the Managing Director since the start. He is responsible for the smooth running of the firm and ensuring that all staff works to the highest standards when providing services for our clients.
With over 30 years of work and business experience, William has acquired a broad range of expertise and knowledge. We deal with a broad range of companies and professionals to maintain our skills and experience in the fields of tax, accounting, and financial issues.
Provision of financial planning services has ceased due to the impractical changes made to training requirements (i.e. that requires even experienced people with no “bad records” aged over 55 to go back to University) and the impossible costs to run these services (i.e. ASIC, licencees, and insurance). We believe that the current laws means that, in future, only people with money can afford these services and that the people who need it the most will remain “poor” and uninformed. This is not a good outcome for the majority people when only a small number of people have suffered at the hands of a few bad advisers (i.e. less than 5%). In fact, with scams on the increase, the laws doesn’t stop the illegal advisers at all and only removes some of the protection people had when advice was more affordable! Please help by becoming more conscious of the reality of overly restrictive laws that ultimately back-fire and speak to your elected members about shedding more light on this matter so more people can become “financially literate” at an affordable price again.
